After a decade of practicing calligraphy, I’ve long become a “collector”: discarded works, spring couplets, cleaned plastic bottles, and Lanting Xu scrolls wrapped in used shuttle tubes-all cherished in my room. But when the image of those towering boxes and broken feathers hit me, I knew I wanted more than simple collection-I wanted to give them new life, letting industrial roughness and athletic remnants speak through art.
